We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accounting Manager to oversee and direct all accounting functions within our organization in Spain. In this pivotal role, you will lead a dynamic team of accountants, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting and regulatory standards. Reporting directly to the Shared Services Centre Director, you will play a crucial part in the effective management of our financial operations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate and supervise the monthly and annual accounting close process.
Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and strict adherence to regulatory compliance.
Perform detailed analysis of financial accounts to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Keep updated on changes in accounting and tax regulations, ensuring the organization’s compliance with all obligations.
Lead and inspire a team of accountants, effectively assigning tasks and ensuring operational efficiency.
Provide guidance and cultivate professional development within the team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Collaborate with various departments to provide strategic financial information.
Identify and lead initiatives aimed to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of accounting processes.
Implement best accounting practices and internal procedures.
Collaborate on internal and external audits, ensuring thorough preparation and timely resolution of identified issues.

Requisitos

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration.
Proven experience of minimum 8 years in accounting and financial roles, with at least 4 years in a supervisory position.
In-depth knowledge of both Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
Proficient in SAP FI, with advanced skills in financial analysis tools.
High proficiency in both Spanish and English.
Skills: high level of integrity and ethics, accountability, proactivity and collaboration, strong problemsolving skills, effective communication abilities to collaborate across diverse teams, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
