We are looking for a Data Architect to build a bright data-driven future together. You will need to ensure that we have the right platforms and processes in place so that data is collected, stored and processed efficiently and securely, enabling the organization to make decisions based on data. You will work with Big Data technologies collaborating closely with business units and technology teams to ensure the success of data related initiatives.

Reporting to Data Management you will play a key role in shaping our data organization and contribute significantly to the exciting journey towards becoming a data-driven company ensuring that it supports better and faster decision making and business operations; facilitating knowledge, processes and technology within an environment of efficiency, growth and innovation.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Data Strategy: Developing and implementing data strategy aligned with our company goals.
  • Data Platform Design: Responsible for designing the data platform architecture, including the choice of appropriate technologies and tools. Ensure system scalability, performance, and security, optimizing data architecture strategies.
  • Data Integration and Technical Management: Management of data structures including design, creation, monitoring, administration, and implementation. Perform connections, data flows and ETL processes between the different datasets; as well as integration of new systems with storage structures.
  • Database Modeling and Performance Optimization: Identify opportunities for improvement and troubleshoot technical issues related to scalability, data quality, database integrity and query performance. Create and maintain data documentation for reference and future use. Ensuring data practices adhere to technical, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Project Analysis and Implementation: Research new data acquisition opportunities. Evaluate data related projects to fully understand their objectives, challenges, and technical requirements. Ensure proper implementation of projects from a data architecture point of view.
  • Collaboration with External Consultants: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, external consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure that data projects are executed efficiently and meet business objectives.
  • Continuous Technology Assessment: Integrate new technologies as another tool in the development of organizations. Keep abreast of trends and developments in the field of data architecture and regularly evaluate whether new technologies or approaches are needed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the data platform.

Requisitos

 JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Proven experience in design and management of data architectures.
  • Knowledge of Big Data and Cloud technologies.
  • Experience in ETL, data modeling and data analysis.
  • Ability to analyse, approach and implement projects from a data-driven perspective.
  • Experience in project and team management.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with external consulting firms and internal teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to stay current on emerging technologies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
